As if we didn't already know that the NME loves The Libertines as much as we do, they included a whopping 5 pictures of the libs (and Babyshambles and DPT) in their 50 most beautiful NME photos of the decade. Pictures and captions under the cut.

This is the third and final prompts post. You may post the same prompts as last week, or you may use new ones. Here's a reminder of the rules:
* You post prompts and other people write drabbles * A drabble is generally at least 100 words but please don't be limited by this * Prompts can be any genre at all * Prompts should include one of what we might term Libsetc, but ah well it is Christmas so maybe if they're in the general 'indie' vicinity I'll let you get away with it * Prompts can be as specific or as general as you'd like * Anonymous posting is enabled, so you can post prompts anonymously, say if you want a fic where Carl beats the crap out of Peter or something. * You can also post drabbles anonymously. If you don't know how to do this, paste your fic into the comment box but then before you click 'post comment', click 'more options' instead, and it's one of the options in there * Fics/prompts needn't be Christmas/winter related, but of course they can be if you'd like * If you think your fic is too long for a comments box, post it as a new post in the community * If you don't want to do this because maybe you did write a fic where Carl beats the crap out of Peter, email it to us at albionstocking@gmail.com and we'll use the sock puppet to post it to the comm. * If you want to watch every comment on this post, click the drawing pin icon above my writing and it subscribes you to the comments. It says 'track this' when you hover on it. * This is a give and take thing. If you all request it won't work. Anyone can write a drabble, seriously. Give and take. It's nice. * Play nice. Anon comments are on, but I will be monitoring. If anyone gets any negative comments they'd like removing, let us know, okay. * Any other questions? Please do reply here, anonymously or not.
Last week, 1daftpunk wrote a really long fic that he (I think? Apologies if not, let me know and I'll change) posted in two parts on the comm here and here. calli_thaala still really wants this. I will try to fulfil a few prompts next week. Maybe you'll all join me?

I scanned these ages ago but I couldn't get the lj-cut to work and I didn't want to kill everybody's f-list either. But with a little help from the amazing 0_clay_0 I got it to work! ( Read more... )

Genre: Christmas Fic/Dr. Who crossover (science-fiction/time travel) Prompt: suggested by the lovely enharmonies (Dr Who saves Peter and/or Carl, The Doctor is not a reincarnated version of Peter.) Rating: R (violence, drug references, m/m sexual references (non-explicit), language) This was originally written for rebecca_star's Christmas fiction prompts post. It was drafted there in sections and was edited by enharmonies to create these posts. This should make the story a whole lot easier to read.
Part One Teaser: They turned me into a nymph... a mermaid! Happy Christmas everyone!

Title: None, just yet.
Pairing: Pete/Carl, eventually.
Genre: Schoolboy.
Rating: Swearing.
Beta: None.
Summary: Schoolboy fic pretty much without any general direction, but plenty of cameos. Don't really know where it's going, but I have bits and pieces of the next part written up. Comments and constructive criticism would be great, as would a beta! Hope you enjoy. x
